What is a summer intensive?

The word intensive implies additional training over and above a students regular study schedule. Ballet Royale offers 1, 2, and 3 week intensives that are meant to push students to dance daily in order to train at a more intense level.

Note: Additional equipment/clothing/shoes may be required for summer programs.

What if my dancer is from out-of-state?

Ballet Royale has an established host family program for dancers who need accommodations while participating in the summer intensives. Please email us at admin@balletroyalemn.org if you are interested in more information!

Does my dancer need to take summer classes?

Summer Classes, Workshops and Intensive are not mandatory, but are recommended for dancers of all ages. Summer Classes may be required for dancers who are looking to start pointe, or who wish to change levels.

Is summer tuition included in the regular school year tuition?
