AUDITION for Ages 6–21 for Ballet Royale’s PRE-PROFESSIONAL PROGRAM and PROFESSIONAL DIVISION for the 2026-2027 season!
This Audition is for New Students seeking to enter the Program.
Ballet Royale In-Studio Winter Showcase Performance. There will be a modified class schedule for Academy Program dancers and Pre-Professional and Professional Division Dancers.
Performance Times:
1st Performance: 10:45am Showcase
2nd Performance: 1:00pm Showcase
3rd Performance: 3:15pm Showcase
Audience members will be invited in to be seated 10 minutes before each showcase begins.
Dancers: Please check your portal for your call time and assigned time slot. Your warm-up, rehearsal, and performance are all included within that time slot.
*Please note: Dancers who arrive late to rehearsal on December 6 may not be permitted to perform.
Ballet Royale has a wonderful and exciting opportunity for young dancers! On Saturday, November 29, we will be offering a specialty workshop for dancers to learn Nutcracker inspired dances. Le Petit Nut will bring out the Sugar Plum Fairy and Toy Soldier in every child!
The workshop is from 10:00am – 12:00pm and is for dancer ages 4 through 9 years old and will include a Goodie Bag for each registered student.

Ballet Royale Summer Semester Classes: Summer Semester classes are open to all dancers ages Toddler – Adult.
Mommy/Daddy & Me: Ages Toddler – 4
Pre-Ballet Program Classes: Ages 3–7
Youth Classes: Ages 7–14
Teen Classes: Ages 10+
Adult Classes: Ages 19+
Pre-Ballet Workshops Ages: 4–9 Length: 1 Day Workshops Give your young dancer the joy of dance & performance! The workshops include a short performance at the end of the workshop, with a different familiar story each month. Take one, two, or all three!
Ballet Royale Summer Intensives
Ages: 6–22 AUDITION REQUIRED
Ballet Royale offers Summer Intensive programs in June, July, and August for dancers seeking an extra push during the summer. After auditioning, dancers will be placed into the appropriate intensive level and can then choose the sessions that best fit their schedule. Whether it's one, two, or three weeks, these intensives are designed to maximize improvement and accelerate progress throughout the summer!
There will be a modified class schedule for Academy and Pre-Professional Program classes Monday, May 19– Thursday, May, 22, 2025. Check your online schedules for the modified schedule.
Ballet Royale Performances of "A Celebration of Dance" will be held at Prior Lake High School.

TCB’s annual production of A Minnesota Nutcracker will be held for a second weekend at The Northrop on December 20 & 21, 2024. Featuring spectacular dancing and original choreography, A Minnesota Nutcracker retains all the magic and familiar traditions loved by so many, but adds local flair with Minnesota settings and custom designed Minnesota-centric backdrops.
