For motivated dancers experience Ballet Royale’s groundbreaking training featuring Progressing Ballet Technique® cross-training, the industry’s most advanced and cutting edge regimen specifically designed to improve ballet dancer’s core stability, weight placement, alignment and muscle memory. This program will maximize improvement and accelerate students’ progress, and is particularly crucial for those preparing to attend summer intensive programs. The Intensive features a daily regimen of Ballet Technique, Pointe and Ballet Royale's Progressing Ballet Technique®.
MALE DANCER BALLET INTENSIVE, JUNE 10 – 14, 2019: Invitation or Pre-Approval Required
Unique in Minnesota, this weeklong Intensive Program is for motivated; aspiring Male Dancers ages 10 through adult. Designed by former Professional Ballet Dancer Rick Vogt, this program focuses on strength, power, technique, and performance. These classes provide a rare opportunity for men and boys to gain invaluable skills and insights beyond those presented in mixed classes. Students receive individualized attention and coaching from the state’s foremost male ballet teachers. Classes include Ballet Technique, Targeted Strength Training, and Classical Variations.

This program is designed to keep your dancers skills on track before attending a Summer Intensive. Classes run for 3 weeks, on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. This program is only open to dancers who attend the July Full Day, or July Evening and August Jump Start
DISNEY THEMED CREATIVE STORY DANCE WORKSHOPS (ages 4+ )

Give your young dancer the joy of dance & performance! This summer, Ballet Royale will be offering three daytime Disney Themed Creative Dance Workshops June 15, July 13 and August 17. Each workshop will be 10am – Noon and will include a short performance at the end of the day.

Attend an exciting and rigorous ballet-based dance program featuring artistic Directors Denise and Rick Vogt with Master and Guest teachers. Each student will receive the finest professional instruction allowing them to reach his or her full potential. Unique to this intensive, students will be highlighted in an end of program Summer Showcase Performance. .

This Intensive has been developed to give students the ultimate experience in ballet. Your dancer will have Classical Ballet and Repertoire class each day. On the last day of the intensive the dancers will perform in an in-studio showcase.

BALLET ROYALE GRAND PRIX VARIATIONS WORKSHOP: AUGUST 5 – 16, 2019
Workshop for Intermediate (ages 10+) through Professionals.
Ballet Royale introduces a focused ballet and variations workshop specializing in preparing dancers for performing or competing in national ballet competitions. Following daily Classical Ballet Technique and Pointe or Men’s Class, dancers learn classic ballet variations and receive advanced personal coaching. With Guest teachers, Ballet Royale Faculty and Twin Cities Ballet Principal Dancers Marissa Debenedictis and Natalie Rossi.
This Workshop benefits all dancers, whether preparing for a competition, an upcoming performance, or simply wanting to polish and improve their artistry, technique, and quality.
Monday – Friday, 9:30am – 2:00pm (Two Separate Levels)
Students will also have the opportunity to perform in an in-studio showcase performance at the end of the workshop.
AUDITION: Saturday, March 30 at 10:00am.
Twin Cities Ballet is holding Company auditions for our 2019-2020 season on March 30. TCB is an innovative professional ballet company that is reigniting passion for ballet through original high-quality performances, including our recent sold-out show Pink Floyd's The Wall: A Rock Ballet.
The audition is open to non-Ballet Royale Dancers dancers interested in:
Company: Soloist and Principal level, competitive salaried position, 34-week season.
Apprentice: Unpaid Apprentice positions for dancers eighteen and older seeking performance opportunities, training, and artistic development to grow, gain experience, and better prepare for a company position.
Trainees: High school-age, for those who wish to receive the finest training available and perform with a professional company alongside professional dancers in professional productions, while on a path to a professional career.
When: Saturday, March 30, 2019. Registration: 9:30am, Audition: 10:00am. Please bring a copy of your CV, headshot, and a first position arabesque (women on pointe) to hand in at the time of registration.
How Much: No Audition Fee for Professional and Apprentice Dancers. Dancers interested in Trainee Positions, please bring a $25 audition fee; cash or check only.

This beloved holiday tradition with soaring music by Tchaikovsky promises to hold the attention of even the youngest theatergoer. Suitable for all ages, this version is less than an hour and is performed by cast members Twin Cities Ballet's full-length production. A perfect holiday mini-treat!
