Ballet Royale Minnesota’s Adaptive Dance Program

Ballet Royale Minnesota’s Ballet Beyond Barriers: Adaptive Dance Program is an inclusion program designed for children of all abilities and needs. It is ideal for both girls and boys who are interested in exploring a new way of movement through dance, includes live music, and will focus on rhythm, musicality, and gross motor skills, while pushing the barriers of the child’s everyday capabilities. All multi-week sessions are led by a ballet instructor, and keep a low student to instructor ratio.

*If your child has a CSG grant or CDCS waiver, Ballet Beyond Barriers may be added into your budget.

Fall 2025: 6 week session

Age Range: 6-13 years old (limited class size) 

Dates: September 6-October 11, 2025

Class Day/Time: Saturdays, 4:15 pm–5:15pm

Nutcracker Inspired Adaptive Dance Workshop:

This workshop is inspired by the famed ballet, “The Nutcracker”, and the themed class explores the characters and music of this holiday favorite. Our Nutcracker themed class will bring out the Sugar Plum Fairy and Toy Soldier in every child as we dance to classic music from “The Nutcracker.”
