An Extraordinary Place to Dance.    

Ballet Royale Dress Code:

1)  Pre-Ballet Creative Dance:

Girls: Pink solid-colored camisole/tank leotard (Preparation for Ballet wears White leotard), footed pink tights, pink leather ballet slippers and ballet skirt (the skirt should not fall below mid thigh), hair in a neatly pulled-back pony tail, pigtails or bun.

Boys: White t-shirt tucked-in neatly, black shorts or sweat pants, white socks, and black or white ballet slippers.

Parents: Comfortable clothes.
 
Please no costumes and jeans due to movement restrictions.

2)  Youth Ballet:

Girls (Youth Ballet 1 – Youth Ballet 4)Light blue solid-colored camisole/tank leotard, (
Advanced Youth Ballet wears Royal Blue leotard), footed pink tights, pink leather ballet slippers, hair in a neatly, pulled-back bun. All shoe elastics must be neatly and properly sewn to the shoe, not tied under the foot. Tights must be worn underneath the leotard. Ballet skirts may be worn for choreography with the instructor's permission (the skirt should not fall below mid-thigh).  


Boys: White t-shirt tucked-in neatly (or white leotard), black tights or tight shorts, white socks, and black or white ballet slippers.

 * Convertible tights are permitted if the dancer will be taking a class
    immediately following ballet class, such as modern.

3)  Performance Track:

Females:   Black solid-colored camisole/tank leotard, footed or convertible pink tights, pink leather ballet slippers and pink pointe shoes (as required). All shoe elastics must be neatly and properly sewn to the shoe, not tied under the foot. Tights must be worn underneath the leotard. Performance track female students will also be assigned a complimentary colored hip alignment belt according to their placement level. Females may wear colored leotards for Friday classes; they may also wear a skirt for Repertoire class with instructor's permission. Hair must be in a neatly, pulled back bun. No jewelry except for small pierced earrings and simple rings.

Males:   White or black  t-shirt tucked in neatly (or leotard), black tights, white socks, and black or white ballet slippers. All shoe elastics must be neatly and properly sewn to the shoe, not tied under the foot. Male dancer's hair should be neat.

4)  Adult/Teen Ballet:

Non-baggy comfortable clothes that can be moved in and leather or canvas ballet shoes, leotards and tights are encouraged. Hair must be pulled back from face.

5)  Private & Coaching:

Females: Black solid-colored camisole/tank leotard, footed or convertible pink tights, pink ballet slippers. Tights must be worn underneath the leotard. Hair in a neatly, pulled back bun.

Males: White or black t-shirt tucked in neatly (or white leotard), black tights, white socks, and black or white ballet slippers. Male dancer's hair should be neat.
 
6) Open Enrollment: 

Adhere to Performance Track dress code.

7)  Modern/Contemporary and Performance Jazz:

        Modern: Adhere to dress code of corresponding ballet level.

        Jazz: snug-fitting jazz pants or tights and a leotard or
              snug-fitting top are suggested. (Please, no shorts)

              Jazz shoes are recommended, suede or non-marking soles

               preferred.

8) Pas De Deux Men:


Men: non-baggy comfortable clothes and black or white jazz or ballet shoes.


9) Pilates & Yoga:  Non-restrictive, comfortable clothes
